Prom Night is a 2008 slasher film from Screen Gems directed by Nelson McCormick and starring Brittany Snow. The film was released on April 10, 2008 in Australia, and on April 11, 2008 in Canada and the United States, followed by a worldwide release in May. The film is a remake of the original 1980 film of the same name[3][4], although the director said that the only similarities between the two movies is the title.
